"As a teenager, I founded an art company called King Kelp Art, where I focused on creating high-quality ocean and fish-themed art for events and exhibitions. However, after graduating from high school, a friend invited me to attend a few events I had never heard of before—Designer Con, Comic Con, and Anime Expo. When I attended these conventions, I was amazed by the vast number of people passionate about Japanese culture, including anime, movies, and comic books. The experience opened my mind to fresh ideas and inspired me as I saw how the illustration style of digital art was evolving.
A month later, while visiting the Philippines, I decided to launch a second venture—King Kelp Arts Studio (KKAS). This new project would blend my love for Japanese Samurai warriors and anime pop culture with aquatic life, creating a unique fusion of sea creatures and powerful imagery. My goal with KKAS was to bring a fresh perspective to the art world, combining the idea of battling waves with vibrant, dynamic illustrations that reflect my newfound inspirations."
